De Groeipraktijk is een innovatieve multi-disciplinaire praktijk rond persoonlijke en professionele ontwikkeling. We werken vanuit sterktes en talenten. We creëren een mindset waarbij nieuwe kennis, vaardigheden en gedragspatronen kunnen groeien.
We koppelen "leren" aan nieuwe inzichten vanuit breinwetenschap, sociale psychologie en fysiologie. Daarnaast is het ervaringsgericht exploreren van de stem via zintuiglijke waarneming (dus net stoppen met denken) de basis van het programma.
Het Groeipraktijk-team is universitair geschoold. We bouwen voort op evidence-based onderzoek en wetenschappelijke praktijken.
Inge De bruyn
Professional experience
Inge is qualified to use the Situational Outlook Questionnaire® (SOQ) and VIEW: An Assessment of Problem Solving StyleTM. Furthermore, she is a CPSB Certified Facilitator. Her mother tongue is Dutch, she is fluent in English and has a reasonable understanding of French.
Inge has 16 years of experience in training and counseling people with communication deficiencies. With an MSc. in Logopedics, she is expertly qualified to diagnose and remedy "technical" obstacles to fluent communication. In doing so, she has become firmly convinced that the technical approach to communication deficiency needs to be embedded in a coherent plan for cognitive restructuring.
Developing and implementing such a plan is the cornerstone of Inge's work. She assists her clients in gaining insight in the thresholds that are keeping them from effectively communicating. Using a customized selection from a host of theoretical models and practical exercises in communication, the end-goal of any intervention is to instill self-mastery and to provide clients with a strong feeling of competence in approaching and scaling their personal communication thresholds.
In addition to her work as a therapist for communication pathology, Inge has successfully applied her expertise to personal coaching of individuals wishing to enhance their communication proficiency and to group seminars in effective communication, leadership & peronal skills training. Organizational problem- diagnosis & -solving support is becoming her core activity now.

Livia Cuypers
Livia Cuypers (°1974) is a qualified speech therapist and a certified Lichtenberger voice didactician. She works full-time with speakers and singers wishing to sustainably master their voice.
Livia is fascinated by music and sound. On qualifying as a speech therapist (1995), she became a practitioner. She also studied the development of her own speaking and singing voice, which brought her in contact with the Lichtenberger method, in 1999. The effects and changes she experienced convinced her to study this method in depth. In 2005, she successfully completed a 3-year training programme to become a certified voice didactician at the Lichtenberger Institute in Germany. She regularly travels to Lichtenberg to follow recent developments.
Since 2010 she engages in "Complete Vocal Technique", a Danish method that gives her a deep understanding of vocal use in different singing styles. She also applies many of these techniques to the speaking voice.
Livia likes to explore several singing techniques required in classical singing, singing songwriting, as well as pop and rock with a view to fully understanding the needs and expectations of a broad range of singers. She plays piano and guitar, mainly to accompany her self or others while singing.
Livia is member of the advisory board of EVTA (European Voice Teachers Association).
Livia is a regular guestteacher at the musiccenter Het Depot in Leuven.
Stephanie Roels
Ik studeerde af als professionele bachelor in de logopedie in juni 2005 aan de KHBO te Brugge en als Master in de Logopedische en Audiologische wetenschappen in juni 2008 aan de KUL.
Mijn professionele carrière begon in het UZ Leuven en het Stottercentrum Luc Tielens waarna ik al gauw startte in De Groeipraktijk en het Jessa Ziekenhuis. In de Groeipraktijk kreeg ik de kans om ten volle voor mijn passies te kiezen en tot op heden ben ik me hier fulltime aan het ontwikkelen.<br /><br />Ik ben helemaal in mijn element wanneer ik met "stem" kan werken. Hiervoor volgde ik het Postgraduaat Stem te Lessius. Tevens ben ik gepassioneerd door meertaligheid en talent. Het ontdekken, ontwikkelen en inzetten van talenten leerde ik in de Groeipraktijk kennen en intrigeert me om dit verder uit te bouwen.
Ik hou van "de goede dingen des levens (lekker eten, film, muziek, kunst, ...)", het ontmoeten van nieuwe mensen en het ontdekken van andere culturen, een mondje Spaans leren spreken en energie krijgen door aan sport te doen.
